a HAPPY new year!

Well it has certainly been an interesting year, yes, I used the word interesting and we all know what that really means. It has been long, challenging, and hard, perhaps the hardest yet for me, and yet I feel very refreshed and rejuvenated coming into 2008. I need renewal right now like you would not believe and so I am grateful that today will be the last day of 2007, and that tomorrow will be the first day of a whole new beginning........ a whole new life!

'Tis the Season

We finally got our (20 inch) tree up, just six days before Christmas. Kalani helped me make the star! Now it's feeling a little bit more like Christmas around here :)

No we didn't.......

..... Oh yes we did! I took Kalani roller skating!! He wasn't extremely thrilled about having the skates on his feet. But he liked the music and really liked the flashing lights at the end :)
